Your organisation provides STS with a list of your food and drink suppliers We then cross-reference your supplier against our STS supply chain database. If your supplier’s STS approved, they can then supply your business. For suppliers who aren’t on the STS supply chain database, we contact them to understand their current 3 rd party certification status. If the supplier has an appropriate 3 rd party certificate then we will review the certificate to ensure everything is correct. If suppliers do not hold any 3 rd party certification then we will work with them to find the best 3 rd party certification for them. Once achieved, they will be added to our database and are able to supply your organisation. What 3 rd Party Certification Options Are There?

The STS Food Safety Standard for food suppliers and distributors is a highly regarded UKAS accredited food safety standard. It is the foremost standard used throughout the public sector.
