Sometimes, it can be hard talking about personal struggles or issues. It’s even harder to discuss them with people you know. As an employer, you want to do the best for your staff and provide the support they need, no matter what issues they’re going through. Sometimes, it can be easier to talk to someone you don’t know. In those situations, your staff will benefit from our employee assistance programme.

Over the last few years we’ve seen huge efforts taken to remove the stigma around mental health. It’s also now expected that businesses provide support for their staff both physically and mentally. Our programme allows you to offer confidential support to your staff, whenever they need it.

Our EAP Features Include:

Unlimited, instant access to our 24-hour confidential counselling line. If an employee has an issue and would like immediate assistance, they can call our freephone number to receive instant advice from a trained counsellor.
Up to 8 telephone counselling sessions per employee per problem. If an employee feels they need a more structured approach to work through whatever issue they may be facing, they are able to access 8 telephone counselling sessions with an aim of working through their problem.
Real time online counselling. Our online counselling service is secure, encrypted, and discreet and can be accessed by individuals through their smartphone, tablet or PC. Employees can chat through their problems with a trained counsellor in real-time.
Online health & wellbeing portal. Employees can access support and tools regarding a wide range of issues that may arise at home, at work or relating to health. Employees can utilise the information through the secure portal or download the information via PDF

Telephone information and advice

Our information and advice specialists are here to help your staff find practical ways forward when they feel overwhelmed by problems. Sometimes, having the information to make a sensible plan, and some support in doing so, is all it takes to feel better.

Our advisors are highly trained to quickly find what they need and help them get back in control of their life. Common subjects include:

Counselling service

All our counsellors are members of, and accredited to, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with extensive experience and expertise. Your staff can discuss anything that is troubling them, whether it is personal difficulties – for example relationships, family matters, stress, loss or bereavement; or work-related issues such as feeling pressure, work-load, changes at work, bullying or harassment.

Whatever the situation, they’ll receive unbiased, constructive support and help.

Our online EAP portal provides a wide range of services designed to support your staff, including:

At Home – Balancing home life with work can be challenging, especially for those experiencing difficulties in their personal life.
At Work – Many of our friendships, goals, ambitions and experiences stem from the workplace. Coping with work-related pressures will help maintain wellbeing and the ability to be positive and effective.
Health – This section contains balanced, independent information and advice on Physical health, Wellbeing, Stress, Nutrition; a place to check out health worries or to get inspiration and support for healthy habits.
Online Counselling – It can be daunting discussing your problems with someone over the phone, that’s why we provide a discreet alternative. By logging into our EAP portal, your staff are able to access online, secure and confidential counselling in real-time.
