How Does it Work?
1. ELAS will provide your employees with round-the-clock access to a trained absence manager or medical advisor who your staff must call to report any absence. The ELAS absence line is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week
2. ELAS will ask a series of questions regarding the cause and length of the absence, the steps being taken to recover and their proposed return to work date.
3. ELAS will also arrange a time to call back the employee to discuss any developments during the course of the absence and any changes to the proposed return to work date.
4. All information received will be relayed to the Employer within 30 minutes of receiving the call.
5. Employers will be informed via email of any changes to the absence and/or the return to work date following each call back until the employee returns to work.
